I am a DC - based photographer focusing on alternative methods and abstract images.
I've just released a new zine called The Trees Spun Darkness.

The images in the zine were made with a 4"x5" wooden pinhole film camera, placed on a metal cake stand, faced up at the trees in the woods above my house, and spun at various intensities for 2 to 20 minutes. The results are sometimes geometric, sometimes they resemble trees, sometimes they're a bit alien. Hopefully they remind you of that feeling you get when you're alone in the woods, staring up at the sky between the leaves and tree limbs.
